SIDEWALK 01 THE EAST SIDE OF 13TH STREET FROM THE SOUTH LINE OF BROADWAY
TO THE NORTH LIKE OF IiNTUCKY AVENUE
tHEREAS, on April 15, 1954, by deed of record in Deed Book. 348,
page 209 in the McCracken County Court Clerk's office, the Board of
Education of the City of Paducah, Kentucky conveyed to the City of Paducah,
Kentucky a strip of land 40.07 feet in width extending from the south line
of Broadway to the north line of Kentucky Avenue in Paducah, Kentucky, said stri
to be used for the extension of 13th Street, and
WHEREAS, said deed contained the following statement:
"It is agreed and understood between the parties hereto
that the strip off of the east side of the tract of
land herein conveyed ten (10) feet wide and extending
from the south line of Broadway to the north line of
I.entucky Avenue is not to be used by the City of Paducah,
Kentucky, until such time as the property adjoining same
on the east ceases to be used for school purposes, or
until such time as the City of Paducah, Kentucky deems
it necessary to install a sidewalk."
AND 17HEREAS, the Department of Highways of the Commonwealth of Kentucky
has agreed to construct said street, including sidewalk, curb and gutter
on the east side of same.
NOTI THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF CO1J-,1ISSIOI::3RS OF THE CITY
OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah, Kentucky, does now declare it
necessary to install a sidewalk on the east side of a tract of land conveyed
to it by the Board of Education of Paducah, Kentucky.
SECTION 2. This Resolution shall be in full force and effect, from
and after its adoption.
