LEE, A CERTIFIED PUBLIC ACCOUNTANT, TO MAKE AN AUDIT OF THE ACCOUNTS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH AND ALL CITY OFFICERS FOR THE YEAR 1952 IN CONSIDERATION OF THE PAYMENT TO HIM OF THE SUM OF $2,500-00 WHEREAS, it appearing that the proposal of Morris A. Lee in the sum of $2,500.00 for the preparation of an audit of all accounts of the City of Paducah for the year 1952 is fair and reasonable; and WHEREAS, the law requires that an audit be prepared annually, such audit of the accounts of all city officers to be made be a qualified public accountant, NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY: SECTION 1. That Morris A. Lee, a Certified Public Accountant, be, and he is i hereby employed to make an audit of the accounts and affairs of the City of Paducah, Kentucky, and of all of the accounts of all city officers, for the year 1952 in accordance with his written proposal for the price of $2,500.00, and the City Manager is hereby authorized to enter into and sign a contract with said public accountant for the preparation of said audit. Said contract shall provide for the preparation of an audit in compliance with all of the provisions of KRS 92.405, and said Auditor shall furnish to the City in pamphlet form 50 copies of said audit, One (1) to be published in the official newspaper, and a copy to be available to each voter who may apply for same at the office of the City Manager. Said contract shall also provide for the furnishing to the city eight (8) copies of the transcript of the auditors work sheet, one (1) copy to be furnished to the Mayor, the members of the Board of Commissioners, the City Manager and the City Treasurer. SECTION 2. This ordinance shall be introduced at a regular meeting of the Board of Commissioners and remain on file for not less than one (1) week for public inspection in the completed form in which it shall be put upon its final passage, and said ordinance shall be in full force and effect ten (10) days from and after its adoption. yor Pro Tem Commissioner Introduced by the Board of Commissioners November 18, 1952 Passed by the Board of Commissioners November 25, 1952 Recorded by Sarah Thurman, City Clerk, November 25, 1952.
