A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE CITY i•IAKAGER TO RECOMMEND THE
EMPLOTMENT OF A QUALIFIED PROFESSIOPIAL AGENCY TO CONDUCT A PERSONNEL SURVEY
COVERING THE POSITIONS IN THE CITY OF PADUCAH, AND TO MAKE SPECIFIC RECODIMI NDA -
TIONS TO THE CITY MANAGER AND THE CITY BOARD OF C0112-IISSIONERS, PROVIDING FOR
A POSITION CLASSIFICATION SYSTEDI AND AN EQUITABLE WAGE PLAN AND SETTING FORTH
A RIAXI1,1VI-I FEE TO BE PAID SUCH AGENCY
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF CO3•-iISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH,
KENTUCKY:
SECTION L. That the City Manager be authorized and is hereby directed
to recommend the employment of a qualified professional agency to conduct a
personnel survey covering the positions in the City of Paducah and to make
specific recommendations to the City D -Tanager and the Board of Commissioners;
providing for a position classification system and an equitable wage plan, the
amount to be paid such professional agency not to exceed :;2,500.00. Said funds
to be provided by reapportioning revenues for the current year so as to provide
an amount sufficient to pay for the hiring of such agency.
SECTION 2. This resolution shall be in full force and effect from and
after its adoption.
