AN ORDINANCE APPROVING THE FINAL REPORT OF THE PADUCAH PLANNING AND
ZONING 00I,94ISSION RESPECTING THE REZONING OF PROPERTY AT THE NORTHWEST CORNER OF
24TH STREET AND PARK AVENUE AND AMENDING THE PADUCAH ZONING ORDINANCE SO AS TO
EFFECT SUCH REZONING
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH,
KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That a resolution adopted by the Paducah Planning and
Zoning Commission on September 25, 1952, entitled: "A RESOLUTION CONSTITUTING
THE FINAL REPORT OF THE PABUCAH PLANNING AND ZONING COMUSSION ON THE PROPOSED
REZONING OF PROPERTY AT THE NORTMIEST CORNER OF 24TH STREET AND PARK AVEPIUE",
be approved as the final report of said Commission respecting the matters
therein set forth.
SECTION 2., That the zone classification of the following property be,
and it is hereby, changed from R-3 to B-1:
"Beginning at the northwest corner of 24th street
and Park Avenue; thence north with the west line
of 24th street 80 feet; thence at right angles
west 82 feet; thence at right angles south 80 feet
to the north line of Park Avenue; thence east with
the north line of Park Avenue to the beginning."
SECTION 3. That the Paducah Zoning Ordinance and the map referred
to in Section 13 thereof entitled: "CITY OF PADUCAH PLAN - ZONING 14AP11 be,
and they are hereby, amended to the extent and in the respects necessary to
effect and designate the change provided for in Section 2 hereof.
SECTION 4. That if any section, paragraph or provision of this
ordinance shall be found to be inoperative, ineffective or invalid for any
cause, the., deficiency or invalidity of such section, paragraph or provision
shall not affect any other section, paragraph or provision hereof, it being
the purpose and intent of this ordinance tomake each and every section,
paragraph and provision hereof separable from all other sections, paragraphs
and provisions, so that if any section, paragraph or provision hereof shall be
found to be invalid, inoperative or ineffective, the deficiency or invalidity
thereof shall not affect any other section, paragraph or provision hereof.
SECTION 5. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from
and after its adoption.
