AN ORDINANCE EXTENDING THE BOUNDARY OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY, BY
ANNEXING CERTAIN PROPERTY LYING ADJACENT TO THE NORTHWEST CORPORATE LIMITS OF THE
CITY OF PADUCAH, WEST OF 32ND STREET AND NORTH OF PINES ROAD, DEFINING ACCURATELY
THE BOUNDARY WHICH IS TO BE INCLUDED WITHIN THE CORPORATE LIMITS OF THE CITY
BE IT ORDAINED BY 7HE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS Or THE CITY OF PADUCAH,
KENTUCKY:
WHEREAS, under qn ordinance adopted on August 12, 1952, the City of
proposed to extend its boundary by annexing certain property adjacent to the
northwest corporate limits of said city and said ordinance has been published in
ten (10) issues of the official newspaper of said city, and
WHEREAS, a period of more than thirty (30) days has elapsed since the
enactment of said ordinance and no petition having been filed in the McCracken
Circuit Court protesting said extension.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF C01-ISSIONERS OF THE CITY
OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the following described lands lying adjacent to the
northwest corporate limits of the City of Paducah, Kentucky, west of 32nd Street
and north of Pines Road be annexed to and included within the corporate limits
of the City of Paducah, Kentucky, and that the city limits be relocated by inclu
within the corporate limits the following described territory:
Beginning at a point in the present corporate
limits line of the City of Paducah, said point
being 217.81 northwardly from the northerly
property line of the Pines Road and 150 feet
westwardly from the westerly property line of
32nd Street; thence in a westerly direction and
parallel with the northerly line of the Pines
Road 625 feet; thence in a southerly direction
and parallel with 32nd Street a distance of 67.8
feet to the present corporate limits line;
thence in an easterly direction with the present
corporate limits line and parallel with the Pines
Road a distance of 625 feet; thence in a north-
erly direction and continuing with the present
corporate limits line 150 feet from and parallel
with 32nd street a distance of 67.8 feet to the
point of beginning.
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from
and after its adoption.
