AN ORDINANCE APPROVING THE FINAL REPORT OF THE PADUCAH PLL NNING AND ZONING CO2MISSION J
RESPECTING THE REZOJING OF CERTAIN PROPERTY ON THE WEST SIDE OF THIRTY-FIRST STREET
BETWEEN JACKSON STREET AND HAAS COURT AND AINMIDING THE PADUCAH ZONING ORDINANCE SO AS TO
EFFECT SUCH REZONING
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COM-IISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1 That a resolution adopted by the Paducah Planning and Zoning
Commission on September 4, 1952, entitled: 11 A RESOLUTION CONSTITUTING TIE FINAL REPORT
OF THE PADUCAH PLMNING AND ZONING COA@FISSION ON THE PROPOSED REZONING OF PROPERTY ON THE
WEST SIDE OF THIRTY-FIRST STREET BETWEEN JACKSON AND HAAS COURT", be approved as the final
report of said Commission respecting the matters therein set forth.
SECTION 2 That the zone classification of the following property be, and it is
hereby, changed from R-2 to B-3:
Beginning at a point in the west line of 31st Street
165 feet north of the north line of Jackson Street;
thence west at an interior angle of 89 degrees 31
minutes 150 feet; thence north at an interior angle of
90 degrees 29 minutes 44.63 feet; thence west at
an exterior angle of 90 degrees 29 minutes 25 feet;
thence north at an interior angle of 90 degrees 29
minutes 106.03 feet; thence east at an interior angle
of 87 degrees 24 minutes 175.18 feet to the tirest line
of 31st Street; thence south with the west line of
31st Street 144.21 feet to the beginning.
SECTION 3 That the Paducah Zoning Ordinance and the map referred to in
Section 13 thereof entitled t1CITY OF PADUCAH PLAN -ZONING MAP11 be, and they are hereby,
amended to the extent and in the respects necessary to effect and designate the change
ed for in Section 2 hereof.
SECTION 4 That if any section, paragraph, or provision of this ordinance shall
to be inoperative, ineffective or invalid for any cause, the deficiency or invalidity of
such section, paragraph or provision shall not affect any other section, paragraph or
provision hereof, it being the purpose and intent of this ordinance to make each and every
section, paragraph and provision hereof separable from all other sections, paragraphs and
provisions, so that if any section, paragraph or provision hereof shall be found to be
invalid, inoperative 6r ineffective, the deficiency or invalidity thereof shall not affect
any other section, paragraph or provision hereof.
SECTION 5 That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and
after its adoption.
