A RESOLUTION PROVIDING FOR AID TO THE MUNICIPAL HOUSING CO10fCSSION
BY SPECIFICALLY EXEbIPTING SAID COMKISSION OR ITS CONTRACTORS FROM PAYMEi�1T TO
THE CITY OF PADUCAH OF BUILDING AND ELECTRICAL FEES FOR REPAIR TO HOUSING PROJECTS
KNOWN AS THOMAS JEFFERSON PLACE AND ABRAHAM LINCOLN COURT
IMREAS, the City of Paducah Municipal Housing Commission desires
to put new roofs on the two Housing Projects now in operation, Thomas Jefferson
Place and Abraham Lincoln Court, and has request the Board of Commissioners of
the City of Paducah to exempt the said repair jobs from Building and Electrical
inspectors fees, and it being deemed to the best interest of the City of Paducah
to exempt said repair work from those fees, and thus reduce the cost of maintenance
and operation of said Housing Projects;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY TIM; BOARD OF COD1MISSIONERS OF THE
CITY OF PADUCAH, JENTUCIff:
SECTION 1 That the Municipal Housing Commission or its Contractors
be exemtped from the payment of Building and Electrical Fees for the necessary
repair or replacement of roofs on the two Housing Projects now in operation,
known as Thomas Jefferson Place and Abraham Lincoln Coir t, and said fees are hereby
specifically waived. This favor, however, does not dispense with such inspection as
may be necessary by the building and electrical inspector, nor the exemption of such
policies of insurance that may be required of the contractor performing such work.
SECTION 2 This resolution shall be in full force and effect from and
after its adoption.
