AN ORDINANCE APPROVING THE FINAL REPORT OF THE PADUCAH PLANNING
AND ZONING COMMISSION RESPECTING THE REZONING OF PROPERTY ON THE WEST SIDE
OF 6TH STREET SOUTH OF JACKSON STREET AND AMENDING THE PADUCAH ZONING ORDINANCE
SO AS TO EFFECT SUCH REZONING
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COAAIISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH,
KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1 That a resolution adopted by the Paducah Planning and Zoning
Commission on August 1, 1952, entitled: "A RESOLUTION CONSTITUTING THE FINAL
REPORT OF THE PADUCAH PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION ON THE PROPOSED REZONING OF
PROPERTY ON THE WEST SIDE OF 6TH STREET SOUTH OF JACKSON STREET", be approved as
the final report of said Commission respecting the matters therein set forth.
SECTION 2 That the zone classification of the following property be,
and it is hereby, changed from B-1 to B-3.
Beginning at the southwest corner of 6th and Jackson
Streets; thence south with theS,est line of 6th Street
173.25 feet; thence at right angles west to the bound-
ary of the present B-1 zone; thence north with said
boundary to the south line of Jackson Street; thence
east with the south line of Jackson Street to the
beginning.
SECTION 3 That the Paducah Zoning Ordinance and the map referred to in
Section 13 thereof entitled "CITY OF PADUCAH PLAN -ZONING MAP't be, and they are
hereby, amended to the extent and in the respects necessary to effect and designate the
change provided for in Section 2 hereof.
SECTION 4 That if any section, paragraph or provision of this ordinance
shall be found to be inoperative, ineffective or invalid for any cause, the
deficiency or invalidity of such section, paragraph or provision shall not affect
any other section, paragraph or provision hereof, it being the purpose and intent
of this ordinance to make each and every section, paragraph and provision hereof separal
from all other sections, paragraphs and provisions, so that if any section, paragraph
or provision hereof shall be found to be invalid, inoperative or ineffective, the defic:
ncy or invalidity thereof shall not affect any other section, paragraph or
provision hereof.
SECTION 5 This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and
after its adoption.
