AN ORDINANCE APPROVING THE FINAL REPORT OF THE PADUCAH PLANNING AND ZONING CO,AfISSION
RESPECTING THE REZONING OF PROPERTY ON THE SOUTH SIDE OF BROADWAY BETWEEN 21ST AND
24TH STREETS AND AMENDING THE PADUCAH ZONING ORDINANCE SO AS TO EFFECT SUCH REZONING
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COWfISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1 That a resolution adopted by the Paducah Planning and Zoning Commission
on August 1, 1952, entitled: °A RESOLUTION CONSTITUTING THE FINAL REPORT OF THE
PADUCAH PLANNING AND ZONING CO,UfISSION ON THE PROPOSED REZONING OF PROPERTY ON THE
SOUTH SIDE OF BROADWAY BET17F,E,i 21ST AND 24TH STREETS", be approved as the final
report of said Commission respecting the matters therein set forth.
SECTION 2 That the zone classification of the following property be,
and it is hereby, changed from R-3 to R-4:
The property bounded on the north by Broadway,
on the east by 21st Street, on the west by 24th
Street and on the south by the north boundary
of the existing R-2 zone.
SECTION 3 That the Paducah Zoning Ordinance and the map referred to in
Section 13 thereof entitled "CITY OF PADUCAH PLAN -ZONING MAP,ti be, and they are
hereby, amended to the extent and in the respects necessary to effect and designate
the change provided for in Section 2 hereof.
SECTION 4 That if any section, paragraph or provision of this ordinance
shall be found to be inoperative, ineffective or invalid for any cause, the deficiency
or invalidity of such section, paragraph or provision shall not affect any other
section, paragraph or provision hereof, it being the purpose and intent of this
ordinance to make each and every section, paragraph and provision hereof separable
from all other sections, paragraphs and provisions, so that if any section, paragraph
or provisions hereof shall be found to be invalid, inoperative or ineffective, the
deficiency or invalidity thereof shall not affect any other section, paragraph or
provision hereof.
SECTION 5 This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after
its adoption.
