AN ORDINANCE FIXING THE AMOUNT OF COMPENSATION WHICH THE CITY MANAGER SHALL
RECEIVE AND TRANSFERRING SUFFICIENT FUNDS FROM THE CONTINGENT FUND TO APPROPRIATION
FOR CITY MANAGER'S SALARY TO PAY THE SALARY SO PROVIDED.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1 That the City Manager of the City of Paducah, Kentucky receive
for his services the sum of Seven Thousand Two Hundred ($7,200.00) Dollars per
0 S-7 year, the payment of said shlary in that amount to become effective as of
�J August 1, 1952. He shall be paid the sum of Six Hundred ($600.00) Dollars
per month at the same time other city officials are paid.
SECTION 2 That the sum of Nine Hundred Sixteen and 67AOO ($916.67)
Dollars be transferred from the Contingent fund to the account and appropriation
for City Manager's Salary under which the sum of Five Thousand ($5,000.00) Dollars
was appropriated for payment of the City Manager's salary for the year of 1952,
so that there will be sufficient funds in the appropriation for general government
for payment of,the increased salary.
SECTION 3 This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and
after its adoption.
