AN ORDINANCE APPROVING THE FINAL REPORT OF THE PADUCAH PLANNING AND ZONING
COMMISSION RESPECTING THE REZONING OF PROPERTY ON ROOSEVELT BOULEVARD FAST OF
MILLER STREET AND AMENDING THE PADUCAH ZONING ORDINANCE SO AS TO EFFECT SUCH REZONING.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMAIISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1 That a resolution adopted by the Paducah Planning and Zoning Commission
on July 11, 1952, entitled: "A RESOLUTION RESPECTING THE FINAL REPORT OF THE PADUCAH
PLANNING AND ZONING COMFffSSION ON THE PROPOSED REZONING OF PROPERTY ON ROOSEVELT
B OULEVARD EAST OF MILLER STREET," be approved as the final report of said Commission
respecting the matters therein set forth.
SECTION 2 That the zone classification of the following property be, and it is
hereby, changed from R-3 to B-1:
Beginning at the southeast corner of the intersection
of Roosevelt Boulevard and Miller Street; thence east
with south line of Roosevelt Boulevard 225 feet; thence
at right angles south 100 feet; thence at right angles
west to the east line of Miller Street; thence north
with the east line of Miller Street to the beginninnr_;
SECTION 3 That the Paducah zoning Ordinance and the map referred to in
Section 13 thereof entitled 11CITY OF PADUCAH PLAN -ZONING MAYO be, and they are
hereby, amended to the extent and in the respects necessary to effect and designate
the change provided for in Section 3 hereof.
SECTION 4 That if any section, paragraph or provision of this ordinance shall
be found to be inoperatiave, ineffective or invalid for any cause, the deficiency or
invalidity of such section, paragraph or provision shall not affect any other section,
paragraph or provision hereof, it being the purpose and intent of this ardinance to make
each and every section, paragraph and provision hereof separable from all other sections,
paragraphs and provisions, so that if any section paragraph or provision hereof shall be
found.to be invalid, inoperative or ineffective, the deficiency or invalidity thereof shall
not affect any other section, paragraph or provision hereof.
SECTION 5 That this ordinance.shall be in full force and effect from and
after its adoption.
