AN ORDINANCE APPROVING THE FINAL REPORT OF THE PADUCAH PLANNING AND ZONING
CMaSSION RESPECTING THE REZONING OF PROPERTY ON THE I•JEST SIDE OF 28TH STREET SOUTH
OF CLARK STREET A10 AM[TDING THE PADUCAH ZONING ORDINANCE SO AS TO EFFECT SUCH
REZONING
BE IT ORDAINED BY TIM BOARD OF CQ2,1ISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, iCM7NTUCRY:
SECTION -1 That a resolution adopted by the Paducah Planning and Zoning
Commission on June 13, 1952, entitled: "A RESOLUTION CONSTITUTING TIE FINAL REPORT
OF THE PADUCAH PLANNING AND ZONING CO,II•IISSION ON TI -(E PROPOSED REZONING OF PROPERTY ON
THE WEST SIDE OF 28TH STREET BETI•IEEN CLARK AND ADAPLS STREETS," be approved as the final
report of said commission respecting the matters therein set forth.
SECTION 2 That the zone classification of the following property be, and it is
hereby, changed from R-2 to B-1:
"Beginning at a point marking the southurest corner
of the intersection of Clark Street and 28th Street; thence
south along the wrest line of 28th Street to the north
boundary of the existing M-1 zone; thence west along the
said boundary 150 feet; thence north paralled with 28th
street to the south line of Clark Street; thence east with
the south line of Clark Street to the beginning."
SECTION 3. That the Paducah Zoning Ordinance and the map referred to in
Section 13 thereof entitled "City of Paducah Plan - Zoning Map" be, and they are
hereby, amended to the extent necessary to effect and designate the change provided
for in section 2 hereof.
SECTION 4. That if.any section, paragraph or provision of this ordinance shall
be found to be inoperative, ineffective or invalid for any cause, the deficiency or
invalidity of such section, paragraph or provision shall not affect any other section;;
paragraph or provision hereof, it being the purpose and intent of this ordinance
to make each and every section, paragraph and provision hereof separable from all other
sections, paragraphs and provisions, so that if any section, paragraph or provision hereof
shall be found to be invalid, inoperative or ineffective, the deficiency or invalidity
thereof shall not affect any other section, paragraph or provision hereof.
SECTION 5 This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after
its adoption.
