AN ORDINANCE APPROVING THE FINAL REPORT OF THE PADUCAH PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION
RESPECTING THE REZONING OF PROPERTY ON BROADWAY BLTIIfEN NAIQ•I STREET AND THE PADUCAH
AND ILLINIOS REIIROAD RIGHT -OF -MAY AND XMING THE PADUCAH ZONING ORDINANCE SO AS
TO EFFECT SUCH REZONING
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMDLISSIONERS OF THE CITY Or PADUCAH, IMNNTUCIff
SECTION 1 That a resolution adopted by the Paducah Planning and Zoning Commission
on Dfay 23, 1952, entitled: TMA RESOLUTION CONSTITUTING. THE FINAL REPORT OF THE PADUCAH
PLANNING AND ZONING C01MISSION ON THE PROPOSED REZONING OF PROPERTY ON THE SOUTHWEST
CORNER Or THE INTERSECTION OF BROADWAY AND NARM STREET'«, be approved as the final
report of said Commission respecting the matters therein set forth.
SECTION:2. That the zone classification of the folloldmg property be, and it is
hereby, changed from R-2 to B-3:
The property bounded by Broadway on the north,
Nahm Street on the east and the Paducah and
Illinois Railroad right-of-way on the west.
SECTION 3. That the Paducah Zoning Ordinance and the map referred to in Section
13 thereof entitled "City of Paducah Plan Zoning Maplf be, and they are hereby, amended
to the extent necessary to effect and designate the change provided for in Section
2 hereof.
SECTION 4. That if any section; paragraph or provision of this ordinance shall
be found to be inoperative, ineffective or invalid for any cause, the deficiency or
invalidity of such section, paragraph or provision shall not affect any other section,
paragraph or provision hereof, it being the purpose and intent of this ordinance to make
each and every section, paragraph and provision hereof separable from all other sections,
paragraphs and provisions, so that if any section, paragraph or provision hereof shall be
found to be invalid, inoperative or ineffective, the deficiency or invalidity thereof
shall not affect any other section, paragraph or provision hereof.
SECTION 5 This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its
adoption.
