HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinances Book 12, Page 770, No Ordinance Number770 AN ORDINANCE APPROVING THE FINAL REPORT OF THE PADUCAH PLANNING AND ZONING CO131ISSION RESPECTING THE RE -ZONING OF PROPERTY ON 28TH STREET EAST OF ALABAMA STREET AND AMENDING THE PADUCAH ZONING ORDINTANCE SO AS TO EFFECT SUCH RE -ZONING BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY: SECTION 1. That a resolution adopted by the Paducah Planning and Zoning Commission on May 9, 1952, entitled: "A RESOLUTION RESPECTING THE FINAL REPORT OF THE PADUCAH PLANNING AND ZONING COPIAISSION ON THE PROPOSED REZONING OF PROPERTY ON THE NORTH SIDE OF 28TH STREET EAST OF ALABAMA STREET", be approved as the final report of said Commission respecting the matters therein set forth. SECTION 2. That the zone classification of the following property be, and it is hereby, changed from R-2 to B-1. "The property fronting on the north side of Schmidt street or 28th Street between the east line of Alabama . street and the east line of Lot 20, OTBryan Addition, which said property has a frontage of 120 feet on 28th Street and a depth of 120 feet." SECTION 3. That the Paducah Zoning Ordinance and the map referred to in Section 13 thereof entitled: "City of Paducah Plan - Zoning Nap", be, and they are hereby amended to the extent necessary to effect and show the change provided for in Section 2 hereof. SECTION 4. That if any section, paragraph or provision of this ordinance shall be found to be inoperative, ineffective or invalid for any cause, the deficiency or invalidity of such section, paragraph or provision shall not affect any other section, paragraph o r provision hereof, it being the purpose and intent of this ordinance to make each and every section, paragraph and provisi< hereof separable from all other sections, paragraphs and provisions, so that if any section, paragraph or provision hereof shall be found to be invalid, inoperative or ineffective, the deficiency or invalidity thereof shall not affect any other section, paragraph or provision hereof.
