STRUCTION OF AN ADDITION TO THE RIVERSIDE HOSPITAL AND AUTHORIZING ROBERT C. CHERRY
MAYOR OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH TO EXECUTE IN BEHALF OF SAID CITY A REPORT OF THE
COMPLETED PLAN PREPARATION AND SUBMIT THE SAME TO THE HOUSING AND HOME FINANCE
AGENCY
WHEREAS, the City of Paducah accepted an offer from the United States
government for an advance for plan preparation of a public works described
as alterations and additions to the Riverside Hospital at Paducah, Kentucky; and
WHEREAS, Thomas J. Nolan and Sons were engaged as architects and James A.
Hamilton and Associates were engaged as consultants to prepare drawings and
specifications for the aforesaid public works, and said architects and con-
sultants have completed drawings and specifications and submitted them for
approval; and
WHEREAS, the completed drawings and specifications have been carefully
studies and are considered to comprise adequate plans of the public works
essential to the community and within the financial ability of the City of
Paducah to construct;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COMII!ISSIONERS OF THE CITY
OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the Board of Commissioners, the governing body of the Ci
of Paducah, does hereby approve the drawings and spedifications submitted by
Thomas J. Nolan and Sons for the construction of the alterations and additions
to the Riverside Hospital in Paducah, Kentucky, dated , 1952, in
connection with the Housing and Home Finance Agency's project No. Ky-15-P-1029,
and that certified copies of this resolution be filed with the Housing and Home
Finance Agency as a part of the final report of plan preparation.
SECTION 2. That Robert C. Cherry, Mayor of the City of Paducah, be
authorized and empowered to execute in behalf of said city a report of
the completed preparation of plans in the construction of the additions to
the aforesaid hospital.
SECTION 3. This resolution shall be in full force and effect from and
after its adoption.
