IA TJ AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 2 OF AN ORDINANCE ENTITLED: "AN ORDINANCE
RELATING TO TRAFFIC AND REGULATING THE USE OF PUBLIC STREETS IN THE CITY OF
PADUCAH; DEFINING AND ESTABLISHING PARKING METER ZONES AND REGULATING AND
CONTROLLING AND PROVIDING FOR INSPECTION OF THE TIME PARKING OF VEHICLES THEREIN
BY THE USE OF PARKING METERS; PRESCRIBING LIMITS OF TIME FOR PARKING IN PARKING
METER ZONES; AND PROVIDING FOR ENFORCEMENT OF THIS ORDINANCE AND PUNISHMENT FOR
ITS VIOLATION", WHICH WAS ADOPTED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS ON JULY 9, 1946
AND AMENDED ON JUNE 8, 194$.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That /Section 2 of an ordinance containing the title
quoted above, which was adopted by the Board of Commissioners on July 9, 1946,
and amended on June 8, 1948, be and the same is hereby amended so that said
section as amended shal read as follows:
"SECTION 2. The following portions of streets are hereby established
as parking meter zones:
1. That portion of Broadway from the west curb line of First Street
C7Ito the east curb line of Seventh Street extending from the south curb line of
7sBroadway toward the center of said street, a distance of seven feet and eight
inches.
2. That portion of Broadway from the west curb line of First Street
to the east curb line of Seventh Street extending from the north curb line of
Broadway toward the center of said street seven feet and eight inches.
3. That portion of Third Street from the south curb line of Jefferson
Street to the north curb line of Kentucky Avenue extending from the east curb
line of Third Street toward the center of said street seven feet and eight inches.
4. That portion of Third Street from the south curb line of Jefferson
Street to the north curb line of Kentucky Avenue extending from the west curb
line of Third Street toward the center of said street seven feet and eight inches.
5. That portion of Fourth Street from the south curb line of Monroe
Street to the north curb line of Washington Street extending from the east curb
line of Fourth Street a distance of seven feet and eight inches.
6. That portion of Fourth Street from the south curb line of Monroe
Street to the north curb line of Washington Stteet extending from the west curb
line of Fourth Street a distance of seven feet and eight inches.
7. That portion of Fifth Street from the south curb line of
Broadway Street to the north curb line of Kentucky Avenue extending from the
east curb line of Fifth Street toward the center of said street a distance
of seven feet and eight inches.
8. That portion of Kentucky Avenue from the west curb line of

Second Street to the east curb line of Sixth Street extending from the north
curb line of Kentucky Avenue toward the center of said street seven feet and
eight inches.
9. That portion of Kentucky Avenue extending from the west curb
line of Second Street to the east curb line of Sixth Street extending from
the south curb line of Kentucky Avenue toward the center of said street seven
feet and eight inches.
10. That portion of Jefferson Street from the west curb line of
Second Street to the east curb line of Sixth Street extending from the north
curb line of Jefferson Street toward the center of said street seven feet and
eight inches.
11. That portion of Jefferson Street from the west curb line of
Second Street to the east curb line of Sixth Street extending from the south
curb line of Jefferson Street toward the center of said street seven feet and
eight inches.
12. That portion of Fifth Street from the south curb line of
Jefferson Street to the north curb line of Kentucky Avenue extending from the
west curb line of Fifth Street toward the center of said street seven feet and
eight inches.
13. That portion of Fifth Street from the south curb line of
Jefferson Street to the north curb line of Broadway extending from the east curb
line of Fifth Street toward the center of said street seven feet and eight inches.
14. That portion of Sixth Street from the south curb line of
Jefferson Street to the north curb line of Kentucky Avenue extending from the
west curb line of Sixth Street toward the center of said street seven feet and
eight inches.

15. That portion of Sixth Street from the south curb line of
Jefferson Street to the north curb line of Kentucky Avenue extending from the
east curb line of Sixth Street toward the center of said street seven feet and
eight inches.
Provided, however, there shall not be included within any of the
aforesaid meter zones those portions of said zones which cross any one of the
aforesaid streets at its intersection with another street.
SECTION 2. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are,
to the extent of such conflict, hereby repealed.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be in full force.alt' effect from and after
its adoption.
