AN ORDINANCE RATIFYING THE PURCHASE FROM MAGEE-HALE PARK -0 -METER COMPANY OF
24 PARK -0 -METER HEADS, AND PROVIDING FOR PAYMENT THEREOF
WHEREAS, the Magee -Hale Park -O -Meter Company of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, has
pursuant to a Proposal dated February 1, 1951, furnished and installed in the City
of Paducah twenty-four (24) Model "G" Park -O -Meters at a cost of $1,392.00 and one
(1) Park -O -Meter Mechanism at a cost of $26.25, together with three (3)timers and
one (1) kit of service tools at no cost; and
WHEREAS, said meters have been tried and found workable and it is desired to
keep same and to ratify the contract for their purchase which has heretofore been
made;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF

PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the purchase of twenty-four (24) model "G" Park -O -Meters for
$58.00 each, one (1) Park -O -Meter Mechanism for $26.25, together with three (3) �.
timers and one (1) kit of service tools at no added cost from the Magee -Hale Park -
0 -Meter Company of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, be and the same is hereby ratified and
approved. It appearing that said meters have heretofore been installed and that
the one additional mechanism along with the three (3) timers and service tools
have been received by the City and that said installation is complete and satis-
factory and said meters are acceptable and in good order, the total cost of all
of said equipment in the amount of $1,418.25 is approved for payment and the City
Treasurer is directed to pay same to said company in full satisfaction of said sale
and purchase out of funds to be appropriated for that purpose and designated as
Account No. 8100 to be provided for under an amendment of the 1951 Apportionment
Ordinance.
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall be introduced at a regular meeting of the
Board of Commissioners and remain on file for at least one week for public in-
spection in the completed form in which it shall be put upon its final passage,
and if adopted shall be in full force and effect ten (10) days thereafter.
