AN ORDINANCE APPROVING THE FINAL REPORT OF THE CITY PLANNINF AND 'ZONING
CPi•AIISSION RESPECTING THE SUBDIVISGON OF THE PROPERTY ABUTTING MADISON STREET
BETWESN 21ST AND 25TH STREETS, APPROVING THE PLAT OF SAID SUBDIVISION AND SUB-
DIVIDING SAID PROPERTY
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF CCM1IISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH,
KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That a resolution adopted by the City Planning and Zoning
Commission on July 6, 1951, entitled: "A RESOLUTION RESPECTING THE FINAL REPORT
OF THE CITY PLANNING AND ZONING COI•]I.ISSION ON THE PROPOSED SUBDIVISION OF CERTAIN
PROPERTY ABUTTING MADISON STREET BETWEEN 21ST AND 25TH STREETS", and the plat
accompanying the same, which is more specifically referred to hereinafter, be
approved as the final report of said Commission respecting the matters therein
set forth.
SECTION 2. That the subdivision of property located in the City of
Paducah, Kentucky, and described as follows:
"Beginning at a point marking the intersection of the east
line of 22nd street and the center line of Madison Street;
thence in an easterly direction along the center line of
Madison street 252 feet to a point in said line; thence at
right angles and in a southerly direction 206.74 feet to a
point in the center line of an alley; thence in a westerly
direction along the center line of said alley and the center
line of the alleys between;22nd street and 24th street to a
point in said center line 60 feet east of the east line of
24th street, as measured along the center line of said alley;
thence in a northerly direction along a line parallel with
the east line of 24th street 206.25 feet to a point in the
center line of i�iadison street-; thence in a westerly direction
along the center line of Pladison street to a point in said
line 270 feet west of the west line of 24rh street as measured
along said center line of I•:adison street; thence in a northerly
direction along a line parallel with the east line of 25th
street 216.25 feet to the north property line of a 20 foot alley;
thence in an easterly direction along the north property lane of said
alley to a point in the center line of 23rd street; thence
in a northerly direction with the center line pf 23rd
street 4.17 feet; thence -in an easterly direction and along the
north property line of a 26.5 foot alley to the east property line
of the Suburban Realty Compqny; thence in a southeasterly direction
at an interior angle of 123 degrees 23 minutes 15 seconds and with
the east line of the Suburban Realty Company to a stone in the
north line of Madison Street which is planted a distance of 306.99
feet east of the east line of 23rd street, as measured along said
north line of Madison street; thence in a southerly direction at
right angles to the center line of Madison street 33 feet to a
point in said center line; thence in an easterly direction along
said center line of Madison street 53.01 feet to the extension of
the east property line of 22nd street the point of beginning,"
as shown on the plat prepared by J. Borden, Surveyor, which said plat
has been approved by the City Planning and Zoning Commission and bears the
signatures and acknowledgements of the Chairman of said Commission and the
City Engineer, dated July 10, 1951, be, and it is hereby approved, and said
property is hereby declared to be subdivided as shown on said plat.
SECTION 3_ That if any section, paragraph or provision of this ordinance
shall be found to be inoperative, ineffective or invalid for any cause, the
deficiency or .invalidity of such section, paragraph or provision shall not
affect any other section, paragraph or provision hereof, it being the purpose
and intent of this ordinance to make each and every section, paragraph and
provision hereof separable from all other sections, paragraphs and provisions,
so that if any section, paragraph or provision hereof shall be found to be invalid,
inoperative or ineffective, the ddficiency or invalidity thereof shall not affect
any other section, paragraph or provision hereof.
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after
the date on which the aforesaid plat is lodged for record in the office of the Cler}
of the McCracken County Court.
