SE02-'Oi1 1. That the City !tanager be and he is hereby authorized
to advertise for bids for the.purchase of..a.-Lwo-ray ,I::,adio Communication
System for use in the Police Department of the City. of .Paducah, each
bidder to comply with the gen:ral and detailed specifications :which are
filed with, referred to and made a part of this resolution to ti-te same
extent.as if fully copied herein.
SEC TICK 2. The C .ty -"ana; er shall advertise for the purchase
and installation of said system by 7ostin^ a notice at the City '-all
door and by inserting a notice of the request for bids in at least one (1)
issue of the Sun -Democrat. T're notice shall be costed and piiolished for
at least seven (7) days prior to the opcninC of bids and the bids shall
not be opened within ten (10) days from the date of uhich this resolution
is adopted. 10 bid small ue .received after the time -fi.:ed_in the notice
for the openin:r of bids. A"-1 bids received by the City ;'aha er up to the
time fi.ced in the notice for the opening of bids shall bo filed with the ioard
of Commissioners e:ho may let the contract to the lowest responsible bidder.
The right to reject any and all bids is reserved and the City of Paducah
shall not become le;ally obli3ated to purchase said system until the
adoption of an ordinance authovizin,; the execution of a contract.
