FIXING THE PENALTY FOR THE VIOLATION THEREOF.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COPWIISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH,
KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That every person, firm, company or corporation operating
or conducting a pool room or billiard hall in the City of Paducah, whether
on the ground floor or above or below the ground floor, shall at all times
keep the same open for access by the public generally. So far as the building
will permit, there shall be maintained a clear and unobstructed view of the
interior of such pool room or billiard hall from the street, stairway, hallway,
corridor or other entrance thereto. No frosting, stain, paint or other
coloring shall be used on glass doors or windows of such pool room or billiard
hall, and no screens, blinds, or other obstructions shall be maintained or
erected to prevent a clear view of the interior of such business from the street,
stairway, hallway, corridor or other entrance thereto.
SECTION 2. Any violation of any of the provisions hereof shall be deemed
a misdemeanor and shall be punishable by a fine of not less than $10.00 nor more
than *25.00 for each offense, and each day shall constitute a separate offense.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after
its adoption.
