as required by the 3esolution adopted by the Loard of Corm:issionero on i�ebruary
28, 1950, and havinZ received bids of The Ohio Cil Company, Lion Oil Company,
,yerlyte Corporation, 'Cne Pioneer Asphalt Division, Ashland 011 L: pefininc
Company and 1:7. R. ?.?eadotiis, Ina; and
YII?.REAS, the Ohio 011 Company havinC submitted the lowest -nd best Lid;

CITY OF PADUCAH, 'iL?TJJCI:Y:
SECTION 1. That the bid of the Ohio Oil Company for the sale to the
City of Pad--cah of all *IC -1-2-3 Liquid Asphalt and P,03-3 Liquid fsphalt rocuirod
by the City of Paducah durin3 the year 1950 be accepted, and the City :•anaCer
is hereby authorized to enter into and execute a contract for the purchase upon
the order of said city of all asphalt to be used durin,_ the year 1950, said
contract to contain the follo.!itZ; terr.rs, conditions and covenants:
"The Company hereby arreea to sell and doliver to the City upon
its order the ::C-1-2-3 and PC -3 Liquid ;asphalt required in all repair
and construction worlt Burin; the remainder of the year 1950 at the
prices and upon the torms not forth in said Company1c bid as follows:
""C-1-2-3 Liquid Asphalt, ;;0.1023 par Callon in
tank car auantities (6,500 Callon cars as desired)
f.o.b. tank cars on City of Paducah track, 31xth
and Campbell Streets, Paducah, Kentucky. 'Ian'.: cars

insulated tank cars are required, there will be
additional charCe of 46.00 per car par trip.
RC -3 Liquid Asphalt, .;;0.1048 per ballon for delivery

Asphalts we propose to furnish will meet requiroments
of 7:entucky Stato 1--h,ray Specifications for respective
Grades. Terms: .let thirty (30) days.

SECTION 2. rials ordinance shall be introduced at a reGular m-ietin•_ of the
Eoard of Comrissioners and remain on file at least one (1) week for public in-
spection in the completed form in :%lith it shall be put upon its final passage,
and if adopted, it stall be in full force and effect ton (10) days thereafter.
