FITEREAS, the City Planning and Zoning Commission has recommended the amen(
ment of Section 2 of the aforesaid ordinance as shown by its final report em- i
bodied in a resolution adopted by it on i6arch 17, 1950;

SECTION 1.
That the aforesaid final report of the City Planning and Zoning Commisciei
be approved, and that Section 2 of an ordinance containing the title quoted
above, which 'was adopted by the Doard of Commissioners on October 30, 1939, be
and the same is hereby amended so that said section as amended shall read as
follows :
"(1) In order to further promote the general -;:elfare of the
people in said district or zone and to enhance the desirability
of said residential zone or area, no residence shall be per-
mitted to be constructed that will be of less value or cost
than ;8000.00.
(2) Only one residence to be constructed per lot, and it is
to be constructed frontin_- the street in the manner in which
the lot is layed out."
SECTION 2.
All ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict herealth aro, to the
extent of such conflict hereby repealed.
SEC TiON 3.
If any section or provision of this ordinance shall be £nund to be
inoperativo or ineffective for any cause, the invalidity of such section or
provision shall not affect any other section or provision of this ordinance, it
being the purpose of this ordinance to make each and every section and provisior
hereof separable from all other sections and provisions.
SECTION 4.
This ordinance shall be in full force and t fro �.d after its
