BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OP COP —7ISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KE TT -(JCI?
SECTION 1. That the City manager be, and he is hereby authorized to appoint
a City Alcoholic Beverage Administrator for the City of Paducah, Kentucky, said cit
administrator to have full and complete charge of the administration and en_'orcemen
of all ordinances of the city relating to the granting of licenses for selling, dis

penning, manufacturing and dealing in malt bevera3es in the City of Paducah, K_entuckhr,
and regulatirg the business of selling whiskey, wine, beer and other alcoholic and
malt beverages at retail and at wholesale. The functions, posers and duties of the
City Alcoholic Beverage Administrator shall be the same, with respect to city
licenses and regulations, as the functions, powers and duties of the State Alcoholic
Beverege Cou*crol Board with respect to state licenses and regulations.
SECTION 2. The person appointed as City Alcoholic -everage Administrator
shall be an employee of the City of Paducah and may be removed at any time, either
with or without cause. Ile shall not acquire any rights or privileges under the
rules of civil service governing other employees of the city.
SECTION 3. Before entering upon his duties as such, the City Alcoholic
F,evcrage Administrator shall execute bond, with corporate surety approved by the
City Treasurer, in the penal sum of One Thousand Dollars (:1'1,000) for the faithfltl
performance of his duties and a satisfactory accounting of all monies received and
disbursed by him.

SECTION 4. The person appointed as the City Alcoholic=3evera e ,dministrat
for the City of Paducah shall be paid for his services a salary of (;250.60 per mont
said salary to be paid to him at the same time and in the same manner as the salari,
of other employees of the city are paid.
SECTION 5. That the salary of the City Alcoholic .;everage Administrator
is a current deartmental expense and the same shall be chargable to the amount
appropriated for the operation and maintenance of the City Treasurer's office upon
the adoption of the appropriation ordinance for the year 1951.
SECTION 6. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are
to the extent of such conflict, hereby repealed.
SECTION 7. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after
its adoption.
