AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF THE NATIONAL CASH REGISTER COMPANY IN THE
SUM OF tj3,650.00 FCR ME SALE TO ME CITY OF PADUCAH OF ONE NATIONAL CLASS 3000
TYPEWRITER BOOIaEEPING MACHINE FOR USE IN THE FINANCE D'EPARTM ENT, SAID BID TO BE
ACCEPTED UPON THE CONDITION THAT SAID MACIiINE VHMN RECEIVED WILL BE APPROVED BY
THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS; AND AU71IORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER INTO A
CONTRACT FOR THE PURCHASE OF SAID MACHINE UPON THAT CONDITION
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH,
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah accept the bid of the National Cash
Register Company in the sum of ?3,650.00 for the sale to said city of one Nationa-.
Class 3000 Typewriter Bookkeeping I.Iachine, but that said bid be accepted upon the
express condition that said machine when received shall be approved by motion or
resolution adopted by the Board of Commissioners.
SECTION 2. That the City Manager be, and he is hereby authorized to enter
into and execute, for and on behalf of the City of Paducah, a contract for the
purchase of said bookkppeing machine, provided that said contract may contain
such conditions and covenants which the City Manager may deem necessary.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be introduced at a regular meeting of the
Board of Commissioners and remain on file for at least one (1) week for public
inspection in the completed form in which it shall be put upon its final passage.
