AN ORDINANCE REGULATING THE PARKING OF VEHICLES ON THE SOUTH SIDE
OF KENTUCKY AVENUE BETWEEN FIRST AND SECOND STREETS; PRESCRIBING THE PENALTY FOR
VIOLATION THEREOF AND REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMAISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH,
KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. It shall be unlawful for any person, firm, company or
corporation to park or leave standing a vehicle of any kind on the south side of
Kentucky Avenue between First and Second Streets for a longer period than one (1)
hour between the hours of 8:00 A.M. and 5:00 P.M. on any day excepting Sunday.
SECTION 2. Any person, firm, corporation or company violating the
provisions of this ordinance shall be fined not less than One Dollar ($1.00) nor
more than Twenty-five Dollars ($25.00), and each time any vehicle is parked
on said street for more than one (1) hour during the time prohibI ted in Section 1
hereof shall be construed to be a separate offense.
SECTION 3. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict herewith
are, to the extent of such conflict, hereby repealed.
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from
and after its adoption.
