AN ORDINANCE AKENDING SECTION 7 OF AN ORDINANCE ENTITLED: "Aid ORDINANCE

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COIRIISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUC:
SECTION 1. That Section 7 of an ordinance containing the title quoted abov
which ordinance was adopted by the Board of Commissioners on December 27, 1949, and
was amended on February* 8, 1950, be, and the same is hereby amended so that said
section as amended and re -ordained shall read as follows:
"Section 7. It shall be unlawful for any person to dump garbage at any
place within the city. Rubbish may only be dumped in the city at the city dump
located at 6th e: Terrell streets, and all rubbish thus disposed of at the city dump
shall be buried by the city the same day it is collected and shall be covered with
at least two (2) feet of earth thoroughly compacted (two (2) feet after compacting
has been completed) by a bulldozer or other heavy equipment generally used in this
type of operation. Provided, however, the word 'person? as used in this section
shall not include the franchise holder whose rights, privileges and responsibilitie
with reference to the selection of a site for the dumping of garbage and rubbish
are governed by the provisions of the ordinance under which the garbage and rubbish
collection franchise was created."
SECT 0 2. This ordinance shall be in fall force and effect from and
after its adoption.
