AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR AN INCREASE IN THE SALARIES OF CERTAIN
EMPLOYEES OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY, 111110 ARE NOT SUBJECT TO THE RULES
OF CIVIL SERVICE; FIXING THE AMOUNT OF THE SALARIES OF SAID EMPLOYEES AND THE
DATE ON WHICH THE PAYMENT OF SALARIES IN THE INCREASED AMOUNT SHALL BECOME
EFFECTIVE
WHEREAS, under ordinances adopted by the Board of Commissioners, the
salaries of all of those employees who are subject to the rules of civil service
have been increased as of November 1, 1950, each of said employees being
entitled to an increase in the sum of v90.00 per month; and
WHEREAS, certain other employees who are not subject to the rules of civil
service are also to receive salary increases in the same amount;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF C01,51ISSIONERS OF THE
CITY OF PADUCAH,'KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the salaries of the Corporation Counsel, Assistant
Corporation Counsel, the Secretary to the Police Judge, all temporary employees,
Assistant License Collector, the Clerk -Typist and the Janitor be increased in
the sum of x20.00 per month, said increases of salaries to become effective as of
November 1, 1950, and that the amount of the monthly salaries of said employees,
provided the same are not changed by any annual apportionment ordinance hereafter
adopted, shall be as follows:

SECTION 2. The salaries in the amounts provided in this ordinance
shall be paid for services beginning November 1, 1950.
SECTION 3. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict Ubrewith
are, to the extent of such conflict, hereby repealed.
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall be introduced at the regular meeting
of the Board of Commissioners and remain on file for public inspection at least
two weeks in the completed form in which it shall be put upon its final passage.
