SECTION 1. That Section 4 of an ordinance containing the title
quoted above, which ordinance isms adopted on Tay 21, 1940, be and the same is
hereby repealed, amended and re -ordained and as amended and re -ordained said
section shall read as follows:
"Section 4. Any person, firm,company or corporation
applying for a permit to use the streets, alleys and other
public grays of the City of Eaducah for the purpose of moving
buildings or other structures thereon shall obtain and file
with the City Treasurer and continue to keep in force until
the :Street zuperintendent has furnished the City Treasurer with
certification in writin,; that said movieg work has been completed
a liability policy or policies conditioned for the benefit of
persons sufferinG injury, loss or damage to their persons or prop-
orty resultin; from any negligence in connection with the use of
said streets, alleys and other public ways for the purpose of
rnovir_-- buildings or other structures thereon, or as a result of the
negligence of the City of Paducah, its officers, agents or employees,
and said policy or policies stall protect the Cuty of laducah against
any liability which may be imposed by law upon it by reason of the
use of said streets, alleys or other public ways for that purpose.
Said liability policy or policies shall be in the sum of not less
than ;0`10,000 for the injury or death of any one person and not les
than .;?20,000 for the injury or death of all persons affected Fay an;
one accident and not less than X1,000 for the benefii; of any persoi
who may suffer property damage in any one accident resulting; from
the use of streets, alleys and other public rays for the
purpose of moving buildings or other structures thereon. Said
Policy or policies of insurance shall, as to the form thereof and
the solvency of the insurance company, :_o subject to the approval
of the City Treasurer. The City Treasurer is authorized and
empowered to surrender ror cancellation any liability policy
after he iias received _'rom the street superintendent a written
certificate that the rnovin; of the building or other structure
for 1,-;hich the permit is granted has been completed."

SECTION 2. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith
are, to the extent of such conflict, hereby repealed.
SEC TIOIT 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from
and after its adoption.
