BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMIISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH,
KENT UCKY:
SECTION 1. That Section 1 of the ordinance bearing the title quoted in th
title of this ordinance be, and toe same is hereby repealed, amended and reordained
so that said section as amended and reordained shall read as follows:
"SECTIO:�i 1. The number and ranks of members of the Police Department of
the City of Paducah, and their monthly salaries, provided said salaries are not
changed by any annual apportionment ordinance adopted hereafter, shall be as
follows:

Chief of Police 1 x,285.00
Asst. Chief of Police 1 230.00
Chief Detective 1 225.00
Captain 4 215.00
Lieutenant 4 210.00
Jailer 1 205.00
Sergeant 5 205.00
Policemen 31 200.00
Provided, however, that a new member of this department, during his first
year of service, shall receive a salary of ':190.00 per month, and upon completion
of a year of satisfactory service, as determined by the City Manager on recomm-
endation of the Chief of Police, his monthly salary shall be increased to the
amount shown above.
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and
after its adoption.
