CITY LIIā¢111TS OF PADUCAH, 1MNTUCItY, AND DEFINING ACCURATELY THE BOLMDARY OF
THAT PROPERTY PROPOSED TO BE REDUCED AM STRICKEN FRO -1.1 THE CORPORATE LIQZTS
OF THE CITY.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF CO'_jSSIONERS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH,
I=; :TUCKY:
SECTION 1. It appearing advisable for the continued repair and main-
tenance Qf the Berger Road that a certain portion thereof, lying within the
City of Paducah and the property adjacent thereto, be stricken from the
Corporate limits of the City of Paducah, it is hereby proposed that coEmencin7
with the existing City limits on the north side of the Berger Road and a
portion of the property of J. Brandon Price lying south thereof be stricken
from the City limits of Paducah, and the property to be reduced and stricken
is more particularly described as follows:
Commencing at a point on the existing City limits on the
North side of the Berger Road, which point is 536 feet
more or less from the Easterly right-of-way line of the
Lovelaceville Road (U. S. Highway 45); thence in a
Southerly direction, and with the existing City limits,
to the property line of Iirs. E. B. Fergerson; thence
along the property line of Price and Fergerson, and in
a Westerly direction, to a point 170 feet Southeast of
the Easterly right-of-way line of the Lovelaceville
;Road (U. S. Highway 45); thence on a line parallel to
and 170 feet from the Easterly right-of-way line of tie
Lovelaceville Road to the northerly right-of-way line
of the Berger Road; thence in an Easterly direction
along the northerly right-of-way line of the Berger
Road to the point of beginning.
SECTIOII 2. This Ordinance shall be published in at least ten issues
of the Sun -Democrat, the official newspaper of the City of Paducah, and the
reduction of, and the striking of, the area from the City Limits as herein
proposed shall not become effective until the adoption of an ordinance reducinZ
and striking the above described territory and area as herein proposed, and
such ordinance shall not be adopted upitil the expiration of thirty days after
the passage of this ordinance and the publication thereof as required by law.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and
