BE I^1 ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COIu1SSION3RS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH,
1EEHTUCKY:
SECTION 1_ That the City of Paducah, Kentucky accept the bid of
Gardner Electric Service in the amount of %il,342.00 for installation of traffic
control equipment as follows:
One (1) Controller to be installed at each intersection of
Third Street, Fourth Street, Fifth Street and Sixth Street
on Sroad*-:ay; Fourth Street and Fifth Street on Kentucky
Avenue; and Fourth Street and Si..th Street on Jefferson
St r eet
One (1) Traffic Light to be installed at Fourth w Jefferson
Streets.
SECTION 2. That the 3ayor be, and he is hereby, authorized to enter
into a contract wit said Gardner Electric Service for such installation,
which installation is to be done according to plans on file in the Chief I11spee-
tor4s office at the City Hall, Paducah, Kentucky.
SEC^1ION 3. This ordinance shall be introduced and remain on file for
public inspection for at least one (1) heel: in the cosapleted form in which it
shall be put upon its final passa;e, but it being necessary to male such
installation immediately to protect the publid health and safety, an emergency
is hereby declared to exist and this ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after its adoption.
