BOARD OF FIRE UNDERWRITERS FOR THE INSTALLATION, MAINTENANCE
AND USE OF PIPING, APPLIANCES AND FITTINGS FOR CITY GAS AS
RECOI•u•LNDED BY THE NATIONAL FIRE PROTECTION ASSOCIATION, AND AS
THE SAME IIAVE BEEN REFERRED TO IN THE 1948 EDITION OF THE
STANDARDS OF SAFETY ADOPTED AND APPROVED BY THE DIVISION OF
INSURANCE OF THE CM-ZION[7"EALTH OF KENTUCKY;, PROVIDING FOR THE
ADI•ZNISTRATION AND ENFORCEMENT BY THE FIRE DEPARTMENT OF THE
RULES AND REGULATIONS RELATING TO TIL INSTALLATION AND
1.1iINTENA:NCE AND USE OF PIPING, APPLIANCES AND FITTINGS FOR
CITY CTAS; PROVIDING A SEVERABILITY CLAUSE; REPEALING ALL
ORDINANCES OR PARTS OF ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREj9ITH; AND
FIXING THE PENALTY FOR ANY VIOLATION HEREOF", i'IHICH WAS ADOPTED
BY THE BOARD OF CM11ISSIONERS ON SEPTE1,1BER 12, 1950
BE IT ORDAINED BY TNM BOARD OF COi',71iISSIONERS OF THE
CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTTUCKY:
SECTION 1.. That Section 39-A be added to the ordinance
entitled as quoted in the title of this ordinance, which :,:as
adopted by the Board of Commissioners on September 12, 1950, and
which Section 39-A shall read as follows:
"SECTION 39-A. All terms, provisions and conditions of this
ordinance'sliall apply to the users of gas known as "Bottled Gas"
and "Tank gas" dispensed from tanks or other storage means within
the City of Paducah, Kentucky".
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its a�option.
