AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF CERTAIN PROPERTY OF
MORRIS BASKIN FOR PUBLIC PURPOSZS, AND PROVIDING FOR THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS
1 OF SUCH PURCHASE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH,
KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City'of'Paducah, Kentucky purchdse from Morris
Baskin, the following described land.situated'in Paducah, Kentucky:

Beginning at a point on the south property line
of Harrison Street 362.44 east of the south east
corner of 31st street and Harrison street; thence
east, along.the south property line of.Harrison
street, a•. distance of 504 to the crest line of
Carson Park; thence south, parallel with 31st street
and with the west line of -Carson Park,'a•distance of;.
379.54 to the center line of Madison street.extended; "
thence in a westerly direction, along the center
line of Madison street extended and toward 3•1st. ,
streeta distance of 504; thence north, along a
line. parallel with 31st street, a distance of 379.54
to the. .point?of, beginning.
Said property being purchased for sewer and other public purposes.
The purchase price'to be paid by the City for said property is the sum of
$1,000.00, and the City Treasurer is hereby authorized and directed to pay
said sum to Morris Baskin in full payment for said property, the same to be
charged to the acquisition account under Project KY 15 -CF -8.
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall be introduced and remain
on file for public inspection for at least one (1) week in the completed
form in which it shall be put upon its final passage.
