AN ORDINANCE APPROVING THE FILIAL REPORT OF THE PADUCAII PLAIsiIHG AND
M,IING COIS.ffSSIOH RESPECTING THE SUBDIVISION OF PROPERTY ON THE :JEST SIDE OF
OLD MAYFIELD ROAD BETWEEN 28TH AND 29^1H STREET, APPROVING THE PLAT OF SAID
SUBDIVISION AND SUBDIVIDING SAID PROPERTY
BE IT ORDAINED BY TIIE BOARD OF C011,ISSIO1:E S OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAII, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That a resolution adopted by the Paducah Planning and
Commission on August 6, 1953, entitled: "A RESOLUTION CO dSTITUTIiIG THE FII?AL
REPORT OF THE PADUCAH PLANEING AND ZOIIIIdG COiIISSIOId Oil TIIE PROPOSED SUBDIVIS
OF PROPERTY ON THE 1TEST SIDE OF OLD I:AYFIELD ROAD BET1-IEEN SOUTH 28^1H AND SOUTH
29TH STREETS", be approved as the final report of said Commission respecting
the matters therein set forth.
SECTION 2. That the subdivision of property located in the City
of Paducah and described as follows:
Commencing at the northeast corner of Cornell
Place No. 2, as shoi-m by plat of record in
Plat Book D, page 66, in the I•icCracken County
Court Clerks office; thence south 78 degrees
42 minutes 45 seconds East along the south line of
south 28th Street 333.84 feet; thence South 19
degrees 06 minutes west along the Westerly side of
Old Playfield RtkLd. 365.08 feet; thence north 70
degrees 51 minutes crest 212.83 feet to a curve to
the left having a radius of 200 _feet; thence along
said curve 69.96 _feet; thence north 10 degrees
41 minutes east 335.3 =feet to the beginnin^•.
as shown on the plat prepared by Sam Biggerstaff and entitled "Cornell Plane
Ito. 4", which said plat has been approved by the Paducah Planning and
ZonirS Commission and bears the signatures and acknowledgements of the
Chairman of said Commission and the City Engineer, dated August 20, 1953,
be and it is hereby, approved and said property is hereby declared to be
subdividdd as shown on said plat.
SECTION 3. That if any section, paragraph or provision of this
ordinance shall be found to be inoperative, ineffective or invalid for any
cause, the deficiency or invalidity of such section, paragraph or provision
shall not affeft any other section, paragraph or provision hereof, it
tiding the purpose and intent of this ordinance to make each and every section,
paragraph anf provision hereof separable from all other sections, paragraphs
and provisions.
SECTION 4. That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after the dgte on which the aforesaid plat is lodged for record in
the office of the Clerk of the I=icC-racken Cour_ty Court. PP
