PETTER AND HIS WIFE, ANNA W. PETTER, FOR THE SUId OF 02,000, TO BE USED BY TIIE CITY OF PADUCAH IN THE EXTENSION OF 13TH STREET BETWEEN BROADWAY AND KENTUCKY AVENUE, OR FOR ANY OTHER PUBLIC USE; PRESCRIBING TIIE TERDIS AND CONDITIONS AND AUTHORIZING ACCEPTANCE AND THE PAYMENT OF THE PURCHASE !RICE THEREOF BY THE CITY SUBJECT TO SUCH TERMS AND CONDITIONS BE IT ORDAIPIED BY THE BOARD OF COMN1ISSIONERS,OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY: SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah, Kentucky, purchase from Stanley D. Patter and his wife, Anna Ul. Patter, for the sum of 52,000 a certain tract of land located on the north side of Kentucky.Avenue in the City of Paducah, Kentucky, to be used in the opening and extension of 13th Street between Avenue Broadway and Kentucky or for any other business use. Said land being more particularly described as follows: "Beginning at a point on the north line of Kentucky Avenue at the southwest corner of the Paducah Junior High School tract, said point being approximately 550.97 feet west of 12th Street; thence westwardly with the north line of Kentucky Avenue 11+ feet; thence northwardly and parallel with 12th Street 175 feet, more or less, to the south line of the land of Bertha Stacey; thence eastwardly with the line of Stacey and parallel with Kentucky Avenue 11+ feet; thence south- wardly and parallel with 12th Street 175 feet, more or less, to*the point of beginning on the north line of Kentucky Avenue." That said property be conveyed to the City of Paducah, Kentucky by a good and sufficient deed, free from all encumbrances and defects and to contain a covenant of general warranty as to title. SECTION 2_ The purchase price of 1,}2,000 to be paid for said property shall be charged to Account Number 10282 of the Apportionment Ordinance for the year 1953; and the City Treasurer is hereby authorized to deliver to Stanley D. Patter and his wife, Anna W. Petter, a check payable to them in said smount'upon delivery of a deed conveying title to said property as prescribed in Section 1 hereof. SECTION 3.
