OF PADUCAH, ITNTUCKY.
SECTION 1. That the Acting City Manager be, and he is hereby,
authorized to advertise for the sale of a lot of ground and improvements
thereon at the south east corner of 8th street and Nonroe street in
Paducah, Kentucky, fronting 25.33 feet on the east line of 8th street
and extending back with the south line of 1lonroe Street 166 feet,7w re
or less, to a point in a private alley or driveway. The advertisement
for bids shall contain a statement that the property is zoned for
business purposes.
SECTION R. Each bidder shall state the highest amount he is
willing to pay for said lot and the residence constructed thereon,
which residence extends out into h1onroe steeet as it is now established.
The full amount of the purchase price shall be paid in cash. It is to
be understood by the bidders when submitting bids that said residence
must be removed within 180 days after the City by ordinance approves
the sale of the property. The successful bidder shall agree at the
time of the acceptance of his bid that the building so purchases,
together with other imporvements attached to or used as a part thereof
shall be completei,y removed from said lot by the date fixed herein.
SECTION 3. The Acting City Manager shall advertise for bids
n1 a notice posted at the City Hall door and by inserting notice of the
request for bids in at least one (1) issue of the Stan Democrat. The
notice shall be posted and published at least seven (7) days prior to
the opening of bids and no bid shall be opened within ten (10) days
from the date on which this Resolution is adopted. No bid shall be
received unless under seal, nor shall any bid be received after the hour
fixed in the notice for the opening of bids. All bids received by the
Acting City 1lanager up to the time fixed in the notice shall be filed
with the Board of Commissioners who may let the contract to the highest
and best bidder. The Board of Commissioners shall reserve the right to
reject any and all bids and shall not become legally obligated to accept
any bid until the adoption of an ordinance authorizing such acceptance.

SECTIOIJ a_. This Resolution shall be in full force and effect
from and after its adoption.
