SPACE TO BE USED IN CONNECTION WITH THE SLUM CLEARANCE AND URBAN REDEVELOPMENT
PROGRAM
WHEREAS the Paducah Planning and Zoning Commission has determined
that additional office space is needed in connection with the Slum Clearance
and Urban Redevelopment Program, and
WHEREAS said Commission has recommended the leasing of office
number 205 at 311-313 Kentucky Avenue from the Sargentz;Gerke Company for
that purpose, and
WHEREAS the necessary funds for rentals have been advanced by the
Housing and Home"Finance Administrator,
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE
CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That office number 205 at 311-313 Kentucky Avenue
be leased from the Sargent-Gerke company for a period of one year commencing
June 1, 1953 for a monthly rental of $65.00, the lease to be subject to
cancellation by the City on thirty (30) days notice, and the rentals to be paid
out of funds advanced for that purpose by the Housing and Home Finance Adminis-
trator.
SECTION 2.. That the Mayor be, and he is hereby, authorized'to
execute the pertinent lease in behalf of the City in the form of the one
tendered by the said Company and recommended by the Paducah Planning and Zoning
Commission.
SECTION 3. This Resolution shall be in full force and effect from
and after its adoption.
