WOOLDRIDGE FOR SALE TO THE CITY OF PADUCAH OF #9 AND #10 LIAMSTONE, KENTUCKY STATE HIGHIJAY SPECIFICATIONS, TO BE USED BY SAID CITY DURING THE YEAR 1953, AND AUTHORILIIdG THE CITY14AIIAGER TO ENTER INTO AND EXECUTE A CONTRACT FOR THE PURCHASE OF SAID MATERIAL; ARID PRESCRIBING THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS UNDER TR-IICH SAID PURCHASES SHALL BE MADE BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COI1R•1ISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY: SECTION 1. That the bid of T. I.I. Wooldridge for sale to the City of Paducah of No. 9 and No. 10 Limestone, Kentucky State Highway specifications, required by the City during the year 1953, be accepted and that the City Manager is hereby authorized to enter into and execute a contract for the purchase, upon Of the order of the City,/all No. 9 and No. 10 Limestone, Kentucky State Highway specifications, to be used dun-ing the year 1953, said contract to contain the following terms, conditions and covenants: "The Seller, (meaning T. I -I. Wooldridge) hereby agrees to sell and deliver to the city upon its order Ido. 9 and No. 10 Limestone, Kentucky State Highway specifications, required in all repair and resurfacing work of the city streets during the remainder of the year 1953, at the price and upon the terms set forth in his bid, as follows: No. 9 and No. 10 Limestone for the price of ;)2.45 per ton, less 1'17o 15 days. The Seller further agrees that: (•1) No. 9 and No. 10 Limestone, Kentucky State Highway specifications is to be delivered f.o.b. 6th & Campbell Streets or spot designated by City. (2) Said Limestone to be weighed by Weighmaster at the City Scales at no charge to the Seller. (3) Materials to be subject to approvak or rejection by the City. (4) Said Limestone to be delivered within twenty-four hours in amounts stipulated by City. (5) The Seller agrees that the price herein quoted in guaranteed as maximum delivered price for any such material supplied during the year 1953, but that in the event of a reduction in the price of said limestone at the quarry, the city shall be given the benefit of the reduction. (6) The Seller agrees to furnish a $1,000 performance bond as set forth in the request for bids. SECTION 2. This ordinance shall be introduced at a regular meeting of the Board of Commissioners and remain on file at least one week for public inspection in the completed form in which it shall be put upon its final passage and if adopt it shall be in full force and effect ten (10) d'ys thereafter.
