THE SALE TO THE CITY OF PADUCAH OF A CHAIN CROWD SHOVEL ATTACHMENT AND AUTHORI
THE CITY MANAGER TO CONTRACT TO PURCHASE SAPS
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COT-11ISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH,
KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah accept the bid of Wilson Machinery
& Supply Company in the amount of $3,222.00 f.o.b. rail siding, Paducah,
for sale to the City of one (1) Chain Crowd Shovel Attachment for Link Belt Sp
Model LS -51 as described in said Companyts bid dated February 25, 1953•
SECTION 2. That the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized to
purchase, for and on behalf of the City of Paducah, said shovel attachment as
set out in Section 1 hereof.
SECTION 3. The cost of said shovel attachment is hereby declared to be a
current department expense and the same shall be charged to the amount appro-
priated to the Department of Public Works, Street Division, for equipment upon
the adoption of the apportionment ordinance for the year 1953.
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall be introduced at a regular meeting of the
Board of Commissioners and remain on file for public inspection for one week in
the completed form in which it shall be put upon its final passage, but it being
necessary for the Street Division to have said shovel attachment at the earliest
date possible so that the wort; of said division may be carried on without delay,
an emergency is hereby declared to exist and this ordinance shall be in full
force and effect from and after its adoption.
