CO14-IISSION RESPECTING THE AMENDIMT OF SECTION 16-A-3 AND SECTION 17-A-2 OF THE
PADUCAH ZONING ORDINANCE AND AMENDING SAID SECTIONS
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COAKISSIONERS Or, THE CITY OF PADUCAH,
ILENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That a Resolution adopted by the Paducah Planning and Zoning
Commission on March 12, 1953, entitled: ,i1A RESOLUTION CONSTITUTING THE FINAL REPOR
OF THE PADUCAH PLANNING AND ZONING COILIUSSION ON THE PROPOSED AIf1ENDI2HT OF .SECTION
16-A-3 AND SECTION 17-A-2 OF THE PADUCAII ZONING ORDINANCEII, be approved as the
final report of said Commission respecting the matters therein set forth.
SECTION 2. That Section 16-A-3 of the Paducah Zoning Ordinance (Ordinance
Book 12, page 709) be, and it is hereby, amended so that in its amended state it
will read as follows:
"3. Trro Family Dwelling or Kultiple Dwelling - Resulting
from the conversion ox" a building existing at the effective date
hereof, provided that:
(a) The external character.and appearance of the
building remains unchanged except for necessary
entrances and exits on the first floor only.
(b) The resultant lot area per dwelling unit is not
less than -3000 square feet".
SECTION 3. That Section 17-A-2 of said ordinance be, and it is hereby
amended so that in its amended state it will read as follows:
112. Two -Family Dwelling or Multiple Dwelling - Resulting from
the conversion o£ a building existing at the effective date hereof,
provided that:
(a) The external character and appearance -of the building
remains unchanged except for necessary entrances and
exits on the first floor only.
(b) The resultant lot area per dwelling unit is not
less than 2,500 square feet.11
SECTION 4.. That if any section, paragraph or provision of this ordinance
shall be found to be inoperative, ineffective or invalid for any cause, the
deficiency or invalidity of such section, paragraph or provision shall not affect
any other section, paragraph or provision hereof, it being the purpose and intent
of this ordinance to make each and every section, paragraph and provision hereof
separable from all other sections, paragraphs and provisions.
SECTIOII 5. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after
its adoption.
