A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY ENGINEER TO GRANT TO THE 6•IESTERN
KENTUCKY GAS COMPANY PER4ITS TO LAY GAS MAINS IN THE GRASS PLOTS OF CERTAIN
STREETS IN THE CITY OF PADUCAH, AND PRESCRIBING THE CONDITIONS UPON V7HICH SAID
PERMITS SHALL BE GRANTED.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COD314ISSIOHERS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH,
KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah authorize the City Engineer to
grant to the Western Kentucky Gas Company permits to lay gas mains in the
following grass plots:
(1) North grass plot of Beiderman St. from Old Mayfield Road
to Mississippi and on Virginia to easement from Beiderman
and on Old R•tyfield Road from Alabama to Beiderman.
(2) North grass plot of Clark St. between 31st & Lovelaceville Rd.
and on Kentucky Avenue between Clark and 31st Streets.
(3) North grass plot of Adams Street between 25th and 28th Streets.
(4) North grass plot of Ohio Street between 25th and 28th Streets.
(5) North grass plot of Harrison between 27th and 28th Streets.
Said permit shall be granted upon condition that said company comply
with all the provisions of an ordinance entitled: "AN ORDINANCE REGULATING
THE DIGGING, OPENING OR EXCAVATING IN ANY STREET, SIDEWALK, GRASS PLOT, ALLEY
OR OTHER PUBLIC WAY OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY, ARID FIXII4G THE PENALTY FOR
ANY VIOLATION THEREOF", which was adopted on September 4, 1946, as amended
thereafter, and also with the provisions of another ordinance entitled:
"API ORDINANCE FURTHER REGULATING THE DIGGING, OPENING OR EXCAVATIDIG IN ANY
STREET, SIDEWALK, GRASS PLOT, ALLEY OR OTHER PUBLIC WAY IDI THE CITY OF
PADUCAH, KENTUCKY, AND FIXING THE PENALTY FOR ANY VIOLATION THEREOF", which was
adopted on June 17, 1947.
SECTION 2. This Resolution shall be in full force and effect from and
after its adoption.
