THE SALE OF CERTAIN UNUSABLE EQUIP;IENT III THL DEPARTivEIJT OF PUvLIC WORTS,
PRESCRIBING ME TERI;S AND CONDITIONS OF SALE, AND THE 1/4RKAR OF ADVERTISING
FOR BIDS
BE IT RESOLVED BY M BOARD OF CO,ii:ISSIONERS OF TN_^ CITY OF PADUCAII,
ic'NTUCKY:
SARCTIO^I1. That the City;•:anager be, and he is hereby, authorized
to advertise for bids for the sale of the following unusalbe equipment
in the street division of the Public :forks Department which is considered
junk or scrap:
Diamond ''T" Oi. Distributor
LeRoi Zwik-mix Bituminous ,fixer
Asphalt Eeater
Topeka Highway Bower
International D-30 Dump Truck
Bids shall be submitted on each individual item and the purchase
price shall be paid in cash.
SECTIOA' 2. The City Manager shall advertise for bids by a notice
posted up at the City hall door and by inserting notice of the request
for bids in at least one issue of the Sun -Democrat. The notice shall
be posted and published at least seven days from the date on which this
resolution is adopted. No bid shall be received unless under seal,
nor shall any bid be received by the City ;lanager after the time fixed
in the notice for the opening of bids. All bids received by the City
Manager up to the time fixed in the notice shall be filed with the Board
of Commissioners who may accept the bid of the highest and best bidder.
The Board of Commissioners shall reserve the right to reject any and all
bids and they shall not become legally obligated to seel said equipment
until the adoption of an ordinance authorizing such sale.
SECTI0II 3. This Resolution shall be in full force and effect from.
