SECTION 2 . That in consideration of the benefits to be derived by the
City of Paducah from construction of the Paducah_ Belt Line, part of which
remains to be constructed, and in order to complete the acquisition by the
Commonwealth of A?ntuckU of the remaining rights of way for the final
segment of said Belt Line, including certain exisiting road or street rights
of way which will be included in the Paducah Belt Line, it is hereby
ordained that the City of Paducah convey to the Commonwealth of hentucky by
a deed for highway purposes those parcels known and designated as parcels
1:umbered 31, 33, 33, 38, 40, 44, 48, 51, 53, 55, 62, 64, 65, 68, 74, 84, 85,
85A, the descriptions of which shall be drawn from plans of the proposed
road on file at the office of the Department of highways in Frankfort,
Zlentucky, copies of which are also on file in the City of Paducah Engineer's
office, said conveyance to be made in contemplation of the construction
and maintenance of said road according to said plans.
SECTI h J. The Mayor of the City of Paducah is hereby authorized and
directed to sign, for and on behalf of the Citi of Paducah a deed for the
purposes set out in Section 1 hereof, and his signature shall be properly
attested by the City Clerk. A copy of said deed shall be filed with the
Board of Commissioners.
SECTIO':' 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and
after its adoption.
