THEREIN, AND PRESCRIBING PENALTIES FOR VIOLATION THEREOF", AND 9MEi1DIivG SECTION 2
OF SAID ORDINANCE WHICH VIAS ADOPTED BY THE BOARD OF COMMI33IONERS Oil DECEi:IBER 2,
1937, AND A1,1NDED ON MAY 20, 1947
V1HEREAS, the City Planning and oning Commission has -recommended the
amendment of Section 2 of the aforesaid ordinance as shown by its final report
embodied in a resolution adopted by it on July 21, 1950;
1,1017 THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF C01.71ISSIONERS OF T=IE CITY
OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTIOI: 1. That the aforesaid final report of the City Planning and
Zoning Commission be approved, and that Section 2 of an ordinance containing the
title quoted above, which was adopted by the Board of Commissioners on December
2, 1937, and amended on May 20, 1947, be and the same is hereby further arm nded
so that said section as amended shall read as follows:
"Section 2. In order to further promote the general
welfare of the people in said district or zone and to
enhance the desirability of said residential zone or
area, no residence shall be permitted to be constructed
that will cost less than X15,000. No trailer, basement,
tent, shack, garage, barn or other outbuilding erected
in the tract shall at any time be used as a residence
temporarily or permanently, nor shall any residence
of a temporary character be permitted."
SECTION 2. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict herewith
are, to the extent of such conflict, hereby repealed.
SECTIOT_i 3. If any section or provision of this ordinance shall be found
to be inoperative or ineffective for any cause, the invalidity of such section or
provision shall not affect any other section or provision of this ordinm ce, it
being the purpose of this ordinance to make each and every section and pro-
vision hereof separable from all other sections and provisions.
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and
after its adoption.
