APPROPRIATION, OF THE PUBLIC REVENUE AND INCOME COLLECTED AND TO BE COLLECTED
IN T&E YEAR 1952; ANTICIPATING ADDED REVENUES FROM PARKING METERS AND
PROVIDING FOR THE APPORTIONMENT OF ADDITIONAL FUNDS TO THE PARKING METER
PURCHASE ACCOUNT AND REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT THERE:✓ITH.
WHEREAS, it appears that the total revenues from parking meters will
exceed the revenues heretofore anticipated from that source becuase of a
bookkeeping factor in that part of said collected taxes not charged or
reflected in the total revenues because said funds were applied to the
payment of rental contracts for parking meter purchases, and
WHEREAS, said added revenues should be reflected in the total revenues
and the rental expenditures should be reflected in the budget accounts.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY TIN BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE
CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the statement of revenues of the City of Paducah,
Kentucky, collected and anticipated for the year 1952 be changed by adding
thereto the sum of $13,000, additional revenues from parking meters making
the total received or to be received from that source ?70,500.00 and the
total revenues from all sources $1,287,655.82.
SECTION 2. That the additional sum of ��13, 000.00 be transferred to
Account Number 8100, Parking Meter Purchase so that as increased the total
of said account shall amount to $13,548.43 which will provide for sums
heretofore paid as rental for parking meters.
SECTION 3. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith
are, to the extent of such conflict, hereby repealed.
SECTION 4. The City Clerk is hereby authorized to cause to be published
in the Paducah Sun -Democrat a notice of the introduction of this ordinance
and the proposal to make the aforesaid apportionment; said notice to be
published at least one week before this ordinance shall be put upon its
final passage.
SECTION S. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and
after its adoption.
