CITY OF PADUCAH, IENT CRY, PRESCRIBING HIS DUTIES, AND PROVIDIDP: THAT HE
SHALL SERVE FIITHOUT COMPENSATION
117HEREAS, Gus E. Hank, Jr. has resigned as Acting City Manager of
the City of Paducah, Kentucky, and it is necessary to appoint another
suitable person to fill that position;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED By THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE
CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. ghat Fred L. Nagel be, and he is hereby appointed
to the office of Acting City 1°anager and as such he shall be authorized
and empowered to perform all of the duties of the City LSanager when he
is absent from the city or unable to attend to the duties of his office,
or when a vacancy may be created by the resignation, removal or death
of the City Manager. He shall have power to sign all checks and other
documents which the City Manager is authorized to sign by law or by
ordinance, and to perform such other duties as may be required of the
City I -,-anagen.
SECTION 2. The Acting City Manager shall serve without compensation
at the pleasure of the Board of Commissioners and may be removed at any
time by a majority of the Board of Commissioners.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from
and after its adoption.
