AN ORDINANCE DECLARING AS BOULEVARD STREETS CERTAIN PORTIONS
OF JACKSON STREET, PINES ROAD, 21ST STREET, CLAY STREET, TMADIS01'I
STREET, 4T!' STREET, 5TH STREET, A;1D 7TH ST,1 ET, REQUIRING ALL
VEHICLES TO STOP BEFORE 3NTEP,IM OR CROSSING SAID PORTIOIIS OF SUCH
STREETS, AND PRESCRIBING THE P3NALTf FOR AIlfY VIOLATION THEREOF
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF CO!,"M13SIONERS OF THE CITf OF
PADUCAH, KENTUM:
SECTION 1. That Jackson Street from the viest side of 24th Stre
to the east side of 26th Street; Pines Road from the west side of
34th Street to the east side of 36th Street; 21st Street from the
north side of Jefferson Street to the south side of Park Avenue;
Clay Street from the west side of 14th 3tr,et to the east side of
16th Street, from the west side of 9th Street to the east side of
11th Street, from the crest side of 6th Street to the east side of
£th Street, and from the west side of 4th Street to the east side c
6th Street; Madison Street from the west side of 6th Street to the
east side of 8th Street and from the west side of 4th Street to the
east side of,6th Street; 4th Street from the north side of Broad
Street to the South side of Husbands Street; 5th Street from the
north side of Adams Street to the south side of :Iashington Street;
and 7th Street from the nort!- side of Ohio Street to the south side
of 4Yashington Street; be, and each of said streets within the Boum
aries mentioned is hereby declared to be and is established as a
boulevard, and all vehicles of every kind approaching said streets
shall come to a complete stop before proceedinU to enter or cross
said streets or boulevards.
SECTION 2. Any person driving a vehicle or any person, firm,
company or cor.-oration ovnin or operating a vehicle which is drive
In violation of any provision of this ordinance shall, upon con-
viction thereof, be fined not less than rive Dollars (,,5.00) nor
more than T^ienty Dollars (.;;20.00) for each offense.
SECTION 3. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict
herewith are, to the extent of such conflict, hereby repealed.
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its adoption.
