24 FOOT STRIP OF LAND ON THE REAR OF SAID LOT FOR USE 113 A PULLIC
ALLEY
BE IT ORDAINED BY TiIE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF TILE
CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTU014 :
SECTION 1.
That the City of Paducah approve the Resolution adopted
by the City Planning and Zoning Commission recommending changes in
the location of the rear boundary of a lot at 800 Broadway in Paducah,
Xentucky, and authorizing the acceptance of a deed of dedication uder
which Dorothy Langstaff Helson and her husband, James R. Helson an
Mss. Faith Langstaff have conveyed to the City of Paducah, Kentucl
for use as a public alley a strip of land 24 feet in w,dth at the
rear of 800 Broadway, said strip of land being more particularly
described as follows, to -wit:
"Lying and being in the City of Paducah,
McCracken County, Kentucky, and beginning
at a point which lies, by.perpendicular
measure, 163 feet south of the southerly
lire of Broadway and 285 feet cost, by
perpendicular measure, from the westerly line
Of 7th Street, said point being at the
northerly side of the westerly and of a blind
alley; thence parallel with Broadway, in
a westerly direction, in extension of the
northerly line of said alley, a distance of
132 feet; thence at riht angles, toward
Kentucky Avenue, a distance of 24 feet;
thence at right angles, and parallel with
Broadway, a distance of 132 feet to the
westerly end of said alley; thence at right
angles, and toward Broadway with the westerly
end of said alley, a distance of 24 feet to
the point of beginning; the parties having
acquired their several interests in said
strip of land by instruments recorded in the
office of the clerk of the M;cCrack en County
Court as follows: Deed Bode 259, at page
197; Will Book H, at page 347; Deed Boot.
185, at page 518; and Deed Look 191, at page
097.
SECTION 2.
This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from
and after its adoption.
