AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF KRUG- THOMAS TRUCK AND
TOR COMPANY FOR SALE OF THO INTERNATIONAL TRUCKS BY TRADING

4ND 6798; AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER INTO A CON-

IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH,
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah accept the bid of
ug -Thomas Truck and Tractor Company in the sum of .2,768.64
r the purchase of two (2) 1-1/2 Ton International Motor Trucks,
id sum representing the difference between the sale price
r said tvio neer trucks and the trade-in value allowed by the
id Krug- Thomas Truck and Tractor Company for used trucks
aring license numbers 6802 and 6798.
SECTION 2. That the City Manager be, and he is hereby
uthorized to enter into and execute, for and on behalf of the
ity of Paducah, a contract for the purchase of the aforesaid new
rucks from Krug -Thomas Truck and Tractor Company, provided delivery
s made by said Company within a period of thirty (30) days after
he date of said contract, and provided further that the City
may impose such additional covenants and conditions as
deems necessary.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be introduced at a regular
eeting of the Board of Commissioners and remain on file for one
Week for public inspection in the completed form in which it shall
Ipe put upon its final passage, but it being necessary for the Street
Division to be immediately furnished with said two trucks as soon as
Ilpossible in order to provide badly needed facilities for street
maintenance and construction work and for the protection of the
public health and safety, an emergency is hereby declared to exist
