COURT FOR THE PURPOSE OF HAVING THE FIRST ALLEY MENTIONED ABOVE
LEGALLY CLOSED
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOAP.D OF COM:iISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH, ICENTUCICY:
SEC TION 1.
That the City of Paducah, Kentucky, in consideration of the
a`reement of Iris Lee France to dedicate as a public alley the
hereinafter described strip of ground for use as a public alley,
does hereby authorize the closing of a portion of that public
alley 10 feet in width extending from the southeast side of Jacks
Street approximately 52.7 feet measured along the east line thereof,
the point of intersection of the easterly line of said alley :lith
Jackson Street being approximately 246.3 feet northeast of 20th
street. The portion of said alley to be closed hereby being
more particularly described as follows:
"Beginning at a point %%,here the east line of a
10 foot alley running from i'iheeler venue to Jackson
Street and located in Elock 10, -heeler Addition, mould
intersect the southeasterly line of Jackson Street; thence
in a sout&!esterly direction along Jackson street and toward:
20th street to a point where the ;^esterly line of said 10
foot alley would intersect Jackson street; thence in a
southerly direction and along the westerly line of said 10
foot alley a distance of 33 feet, more or less, to the north•
easterly line of the 10 foot alley to be dedicated; thence it
southeasterly direction and ::•ith the northeasterly line of s:
10 foot alley to be dedicated to a point in the easterly lin(
of said 10 foot alley to be closed, said point beim 204.5 ft
from and at right angles to 20th street and 33.5 feet from
and at right anCles to Jackson street; thence in a northerly
direction and with the easterly line of said 10 foot alley
52.7 feet to the point of beginning.
And the Corporation Counsel is hereby authorized and directed to
institute in the ;..cCracken Circuit Court a suit for the purpose of
having said alley closed in compliance with the provisions of the
stgtutes.

SECTION 2.
That the City of Paducah accept the offer of Iris Lee :ranee
to dedicate for public use and as a public alley a strip of ground
10 feet in width extendin,, from the southeast line of Jackson strep
to the :vest line of the first mentioned alley as extended, and bein,
a distance of approximately 194.5 feat- northeast of Coth street,
said strip of Ground being more particularly described as follows;
"Beginning at a point 204.5 feet from the southeast
corner of the intersection of 20th and Jackson street;
thence at 90 degrees and in a southeasterly direction to
the westerly line of a 10 foot alley; thence in a southerly
direction and with the westerly line of said ten (10) foot
alley to a point, said point beinr 194.5 feet from and at
right angles to 20th street; thence in a northwesterly
direction_ parallel with 20th street 29.2 feet to the south-
easterly side of Jaci:son street; thence in a northeasterly
direction and with the line of Jackson street 10 feet to the
point of be.inning.
SECTION 3.
This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and
after its adoption.
